Kosten Foundation Receives $6,500 From 4th Annual Will James Extravaganza Hosted by All About Bikes
Son’s Fundraiser Pays Tribute to Father Who Died from Pancreatic Cancer
Memphis, Tenn., October 16, 2019 – The Fourth Annual Will James Extravaganza fundraiser, benefiting the Memphis-based Kosten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Support and hosted by All About Bikes, raised more than $6,500 for the fight against pancreatic cancer. Last year’s event raised more than $5,000.
“We are very grateful for the team at All About Bikes for their continued support in the fight to end pancreatic cancer,” said Alan Kosten, Chairman of the Herb Kosten Pancreatic Cancer Charitable Fund. “This event has grown every year and we appreciate the opportunity to be included and spread awareness of this terrible disease.”
The Will James Extravaganza was created by Tommy James, owner of All About Bikes, to honor his father who passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in 2015 and to raise funds to help find a cure for the deadly disease. The annual event is free to attend and includes activities for kids and families, a baked goods live auction, food, and refreshments. Guests were also able to purchase new T-shirts, delicious chili, and drinks.
Proceeds from the baked goods live auction, T-shirt, food, and product sales were donated to the Kosten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Support.
