Kosten Foundation Receives $6,000 From More Than 300 BMW Test Drives Taken in August
Roadshow BMW donates maximum amount to benefit the Kosten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research
Memphis, Tenn., September 9, 2019 – More than 300 drivers took a test drive at Roadshow BMW between August 1 and 31, 2019, to help raise $6,000 in support of the Memphis-based Kosten Foundation’s fight to end pancreatic cancer. For every test drive taken at Roadshow BMW’s dealership located at 405 N. Germantown Parkway, the dealership donated $25 to the Kosten Foundation as part of its Roadshow Gives Back promotion. Roadshow BMW doubled the donation up to a maximum of $6,000 if 100 test drives were made.
“We are so grateful to Roadshow BMW and especially to everyone who came out to participate in this great promotion, “said Alan Kosten, Chairman of the Herb Kosten Pancreatic Cancer Charitable Fund. “Being able to reach the maximum donation amount reminds us how fortunate we are to have great community partners and supporters as we continue our fight to find a cure for pancreatic cancer.”
Money raised from the Roadshow Gives Back promotion and other Kosten Foundation events help fund pancreatic cancer research. The Memphis-based Kosten Foundation organization has raised close to $2,000,000 for pancreatic cancer research and assists with programs such as the Kosten Foundation’s Pancreatic Cancer Support Group, which meets the second Saturday of every month at the Cordova Public Library.
